About Me
I am a writer, editor, academic tutor, and marketing professional based in Denver, Colorado. My professional experience in in-house and freelance copywriting and journalism, paired with my creativity and expertise in writing, inspire me to craft unique narratives through a wide variety of media.
I currently work as a financial copywriter for a creative team in financial services. I specialize in participant communications and education, as well as company branding and voice/written style.
In 2019, I graduated from Colorado College as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society for my degree in comparative literature and linguistics, with a thesis on discourse surrounding American exceptionalism and the American Dream in Great Depression literature.
During my time at Colorado College, I was the editor-in-chief at the weekly student newspaper, The Catalyst, an intern and trip leader for outdoor education, and a peer mentor for the Department of Comparative Literature. I am an AmeriCorps alumna and currently volunteer as a translator for non-profit organizations.
